A LightHouse in a Dark World : Church History
Senior Pastor Reneal B. Spruill initially founded Triumph Church Without Walls Ministries in December 2014 and officially birthed the ministry in February 2015.
With a heavy burden on her heart Pastor Spruill believed God's people should be able to TRIUMPH over every circumstance because of what Jesus did for every man, woman and child on the CROSS! We are victorious, not defeated because of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
Pastor Reneal has always had a heart for people of all demographics. It wasn't until God saved her on February 17, 1993, that she understood and realized the Love that was poured out for mankind through the shedding of His son's blood.
When she joined church, she would always wonder..."why does it look like we're always being defeated as God's people, and we should be Triumphant?" The fact of the matter is...Jesus went to the Cross and took back the keys from satan! When Jesus did this, we were given power and authority! The vision of seeing God's people having a victorious life was then birthed in Pastor Reneal but she kept quiet for a long time. She worked hard in the church but was not happy. Believing it was more to a relationship with God than shouting, screaming at the devil, rolling on the floor, church anniversaries, Pastor appreciation services, and other traditions practiced in ministries through the centuries, she hid it inside for 15 years. Later God begin to have a little talk with her and showed her he was going to use her to bring about a change!!
CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS...
God revealed to Pastor Reneal that she will never be confined to a building but assigned to the KINGDOM OF GOD.
The first name of the church was "Triumph Outreach Ministry"; however, growth was quickly on the horizon because the Lord clearly spoke, "Triumph International Ministries". This revelation struck fear in Pastor Reneal when God revealed it because she had never traveled internationally. In the same breath, she received the revelation in her heart because the Spirit of God is omnipresent, HE is everywhere! Although humored by what seemed far-fetched, Pastor Reneal also fully understood one day God would send her out.
Nov. 2014 Reneal was released from the ministry she was serving in and in Dec. 2014 she began church in her home with 3 individuals: herself, husband and daughter.
That same December she was ordained and licensed by Apostle Donnell Brown of Restoration Life Ministries, Martinsburg, WV.
In February 2015, Triumph International Church Without Walls Ministries began.
KINGDOM LIVING, KINGDOM BUILDING, with one Mind, one Heart and one GOD!
God said, "Triumph will become a Lighthouse in a Dark world."
